Narrow Aisle Pallet Racking Project – Case Study

2 Tier Archive Racking System

Location: Merseyside

Our project managers were approached by a company based in Merseyside who had experienced an extremely high increase in trade over the last 12 months. As a result they asked us to provide a pallet racking proposal to maximise their storage capability and the use of their newly ordered ”aisle master’ truck.

The client was able to provide us with a drawing of the new warehouse for us to accurately fit in a suitable racking system, after trying a number of systems our project manager decided the best system was a narrow aisle pallet racking system.

With the drawings and proposal done our project manager visited our potential client in Merseyside. Based on our comprehensive proposal we were awarded the contract that day.

Our proposed system consisted of 24 bays of narrow aisle pallet racking 10m high, 900mm deep with 2702mm clear entry. Each bay has 5 beam levels with a maximum load of 600kg per pallet.

We also allowed for rack protection; column guards and end of rack barriers to protect the racking.

Our client was over the moon with the project which took our experienced installers only four days to install from start to finish.
